Washoku Lovers is a community where people can experience, share and learn about Washoku by visiting their partnered restaurants, writing reviews, and participating in their cooking shows.
My responsibility includes re-creating their brand image.

I was commissioned to create Atelier's 1st anniversary promotional flyer and designs for their commemorative T-shirts.

First, I was asked to create a logo for 'ReNCOUNTER' which is the main hair studio to open in the future (Logo at the bottom of the page).
After a good chat with the owner Hide about floor plans, concept and style, he wanted the place to be natural, minimal, stylish and warm.
We both had a clear sense of how the interior would be such as using wooden floor, wooden desk, white walls, naked ceiling and a bit of green plants in somewhere.
So, the logo 'Rencounter' needed to have the reflection of the feeling of the studio, as well as uniqueness and cleanness.
ATELIER is a sister studio which happened to be opened before Rencounter.
The concept behind the shop and logo are mostly the same, however he wanted the place to be a bit more private and homely.
The Studio's entrance is located back laneway. No sign to be seen from elsewhere.

Gas As Interface Co., Ltd has started a new project "SO MANY GOOD BOOKS" to produce artistic, fashionable and functional book cover as well as laptop case for real book lovers. Together with the Nagasaki-based factory, specialised in paper articles production, Gas developed fine design and high quality book cover, featuring artists’ selection from Tokyo, London and Paris. The effect applied to the surface achieves a sense of tenderness, and worn-out look as time goes by. The book cover also has high durability and can reliably protect a book.

Sometimes or most of the times, it's hard to look at yourself objectively.
Business card is something that has to represent yourself, show your character, identity, personality and style. That is the brief for myself to create my own business card.
After a quite while seeing myself, I wanted my card to be simple, natural, unique, eye-catching, yet everything is to be subtle.
Considering above though, I worked through on intuitively what feels right and good. This way, I belive the design will be more captivating, and be able to express who I am.

All about ideas, no viability of the idea ( product ) needs to be considered. Come up with some ideal, imaginary or delusional camera you want to see, and design it with sketch, illustrate or CG within the dimension of 440w x 1000h.
